Rockaway Market Street @ Beach 60th is the Rockaway peninsula's first outdoor marketplace and promotes fresh, affordable, and regionally grown produce, food products, and homemade crafts.
As part of Wellness Way Initiative, the market takes place under the A-train's elevated tracks at Beach 60th Street and serves as a community hub to bring vibrancy to our neighborhood, while supporting the health and wellness of the Rockaway community.
The farmers market season takes place every Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., June 15 to October 12, 2024, and has live music, food sampling, and related activities. The mission of Rockaway Market Street @ Beach 60th is to support regional farmers and vendors with opportunities to sell their vegetables, fruits, homemade food products, baked goods, and locally made crafts and products to the general public.
