Rockaway Market Street @ Beach 60th is the Rockaway peninsula's first outdoor marketplace, under the El by the Beach 60th Street subway entrance, that promotes fresh regionally grown produce, food products, and crafts.

As part of Wellness Way Initiative, the market will take place under the El by the Beach 60th Street "A" line subway station, as an open public space to support community events that bring vibrancy to the neighborhood and support the health and wellness of the Rockaway community.
The 2022 market will take place every Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., June 4 to October 22, and will be supported with live music, food, and related activities. The mission of Rockaway Market Street @ Beach 60th is to support regional farmers and vendors with opportunities to sell their vegetables, fruits, homemade food products, baked goods, and locally made crafts and products to the general public.
Eligible products include organic/nonorganic produce, eggs, cheese, pickles, herbs, mushrooms, honey, jams, juices, seafood, meat, flowers/plants, compost/soil, baked goods, homemade food products, and crafts. The market accepts credit cards, SNAP, and WIC vouchers.
Any farmers, food vendors, or artisans interested in participating must complete the 2022 Rockaway Market Street application below in order to be preapproved to sell at the market.
