Shore Corps "Leaders"
Shore Corps "Leaders" serve as summer staff and team leaders for our summer Shore Corps program.
If you took part in the Shore Corps program as a high school student, consider applying to be a summer staff member and team leader!
Shore Corps Leaders will oversee student cohorts focused on environmental science, urban planning/art/design, farming/culinary arts, and assist with outdoor group activities including surfing, swimming, biking, and kayaking.
Applicants must be 18-25 years of age and live in or around the Rockaway Peninsula and be available to work 2-3 days/week, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., June 21st to August 18th, 2023. Applicants with additional lifeguard or CPR certifications should specify skills on the application. Individuals who have been involved in Shore Corps as a high school student, will be prioritized.
