Social Distancing Guidelines

In order to ensure your personal health and safety, and that of others, please follow the guidelines listed below while taking part in our community events and stewardship days. 

In order to ensure your personal health and safety, and that of others, please follow the guidelines listed below while taking part in our community events:

  • We ask that all volunteers for live in-person events be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination through the CDC vaccination card or the NY State Excelsior Pass.
  • If you are feeling sick or exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms DO NOT volunteer.
  • Wearing a face covering is required. Volunteers will not be permitted to volunteer without a face covering. Masks will be available as needed.
  • Stay at least 6 ft from others at all times. 
  • Volunteer events are limited participation at this time. Please only register to volunteer if you are able to attend.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available on site. Please wash your hands at the start and end of the volunteer project.
  • Gloves will be available on site, but participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves.
  • Please bring your own water, sunscreen, hat, and any other personal supplies. No water will be available at volunteer events.
  • Volunteer for an event that you can travel to safely or that is close to where you live.
  • Please follow any additional state, city and federal guidelines and safety protocols.
